Thank you for your recent membership to the Kern County Black Chamber of Commerce, and on behalf of our chamber I would like to personally welcome you and your team and help you make the most of your membership. The Kern County Black Chamber of Commerce continues to grow our membership, we are the strongest voice for the Kern County business in the African American community. We are committed to helping your business grow and thrive! The Chamber offers several networking opportunities, workforce training and development programs, and speaker seminars on a variety of topics. Because of the current pandemic situation, we have curbed most of our in-person activities. We have begun regular forums and roundtables with leading public and private sector experts in key industries, including manufacturing, health care, construction, and more! These forums are open to all members, and attendees can learn first-hand about key policy initiatives and economic development projects impacting Kern County businesses. Kern County Black Chamber of Commerce presents checks to local small businesses

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Kern County Black Chamber of Commerce is lending support to its members in this time of need.

On Tuesday, the chamber selected five businesses and presented them with $500.00 stimulus checks. The chamber said the pandemic has caused a lot of uncertainty and struggle for small businesses in the Black community.
